heartworn highways

this is a great scene/song from the documentary heartworn highways. if you haven't seen this movie, rent it now.  it's a great film from about the folk and country music scene from the mid 70's.  it features steve earle, townes van zandt, david allan coe, the charlie daniels band and gamble rogers, to name a few. i'm still trying to find a copy of the soundtrack which has been out of print for ages.

i was obsessed with FNM in highschool but never got to seem them live. counting down the days til the july 2nd show in brooklyn.
the real thing is still one of my favorite songs. the lyrics are amazing. i had the You Fat B**tards vhs tape also. i watched that thing over and over again, fantasizing about mike patton.
